Hello. You would be surprised to learn that tight is nothing to be ashamed of. That is exactly the way I played when I first started. Your poker game will evolve. There are times when playing tight is critical. Aggression is necessary, but controlled aggression is the key. Always take advantage of your table image. If you have a tight image, there will be many opportunities for you to steal. People will fold to you more often than a loose aggressive opponent. Your style of play requires that you find deep stack tournaments in which you can kick back and not have to gamble right off the bat. Ultimate Bet has great deep stack tournaments(5000 in chips) and the buy-ins start at one dollar.
Good luck and continue to build on your game
