Hi,

I have been asked how some of you can be more involved in making this community better as we get nearer to our launch in 2010. Here are some ideas.

1. We are looking for people to do an ipod radio show. all about women and poker. Time commitment is once per week. No experience necessary as enthusiasm and knowlege is more important. There is no compensation available at this time but you will grow with the site and as we get advertising surrounding your show you will be included in revenue sharing for your show sponsors.

2. Upload your pictures and make your community as active as possible. You can update your profile, post in the forum, upload galleries and so on. If you have a blog or website, feel free to link to it in your profile here. This is a neutral website open to everyone who would like to promote to or have an interest in women getting more involved in poker.

3. If you have any special skills and would like to help develop the site - please send me a private message and let me know.

4. Join our twitter and facebook groups if you have an account. We have both and you will find them in the bottom toolbar.

5. Know of any tournaments going on for women? Add them to our calendar on the front page - they are all welcome here.

6. Invite your friends to join and contribute as well, that goes without saying but just a reminder that every one is welcome.

7. Have a good story to share? Want to see your name and/or website in print? You can see the subjects we are all about by browsing the menu items. If you feel you have something to contribute, please send us an email.

8. In 2010, if you have a business and are a member of this site, there will be a link exchange available to members only.

9. Going to be going to a tournament and want to represent Woman Poker Player magazine there? Give me an email and let's see what we can do. We would love to be able to have more coverage of women and poker though our members.

10. We have lots of stuff planned such as blogging featured members, feedback via voting and so on. If you think there is something more you would like to see (ie., celeb videos) let us know!
