I read about halfway through the thread and the common denominators I saw in the posts were that 1) women are weak players; 2) women are tight players; 2) women almost always 3 bet strong hands; and 4) women rarely bluff.

If this is the stereotype of female poker players, then I shall soon be a very rich woman!

I heard that in the UK, the percentage of women playing poker is greater than the men, is that true?

Thanks for the link. I like that men think we are weak and rarely bluff. As a matter of fact I like to set up that image early in a game. The tighter they think I am the better off I am in the long run. I can steal many more pots than the men and/or women think I am stealing. They automatically assume I have a top hand.

I play in the UK and I definitely don't think it's true at least not for live play in casinos...
