Join Amy and Jen on Women's Poker Hour while they talk with Zeljka Pencinger aka "Cookie" who started the Croatian Ladies Poker Team.  Find out about the cultural differences in Croatia in regards to attitudes about poker and how the wonderful Cookie and her team is encouraging more females to play. 

Zeljka Pencinger loves to play Texas Hold'em and Omaha Hi Lo, both live and online. She has played many final tables at local tournaments and has won several low buy-in online tournaments. Playing in casinos, she noticed that only three girls (including herself) were regular players, so she came up with an idea of forming a ladies team which would promote poker to women and try to encourage them to play.  The Pokerica ladies team has recently been nominated for a Maven Award for their marketing efforts.
