This week's Special Guest on Women's Poker Hour is Pamela Brunson. Pamela is no stranger to the poker industry, and has winnings of over 100k including some WSOP cashes. She is also part of the best known family in poker, led by her father, the legendary Doyle Brunson.
Pamela Brunson was born in Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelors degree in sociology. She then went to work for a retirement home in Southern California and worked her way up until she was promoted to executive director.
Since moving back to Vegas a few years ago, Pamela started playing more poker. In 2007, not only did she cash twice at the WSOP but she managed to outlast both her father and brother Todd in the WSOP main event.
Pamela talks with Amy and Jen about growing up in a poker family, shares her poker insights and tips for women at the felt, and her discusses her role at Doyle's Room as Manager of the "Brunson 10."
