The Canadian Consumer Law Group has launched a national class action lawsuit against Full Tilt Poker on behalf of individuals who have funds being held in their Full Tilt Poker Player Accounts.
On April 15th 2011, known as “Black Friday” in the poker industry, U.S. players became unable to access their Full Tilt Player Accounts. However, Canadian poker players were still able to play.
Since that time, Full Tilt Poker has not permitted Canadian players to make cash out requests, completely denying them access to their own Player Accounts and to their own funds. The lawsuit, must be authorized by a Quebec judge before proceeding. The outcome could benefit many Canadians who had their accounts frozen following Black Friday.
