Among the survivors are former EPT Prague champion Team PokerStars Pro Salvatore Bonavena and lively husband-and-wife team Josh and Helen Prager. Last night, PokerStars qualifier Helen had the most chips; tonight it's Josh in the lead with 362,500. This is not his first EPT deep run.. he came fifth at the Grand Final in Season 3 for €391,550. The leading Team PokerStars Pro at the moment is popular Pole Marcin Horecki with 219,000. He will be joined tomorrow by Italian team-mate Luca Pagano who seems set to smash his own EPT record yet again. Pagano has already made the money at 16 EPTs and, if he survives 13 more bust-outs here in Prague, will make a record 17th cash. He has 146,500 and 80 places are getting paid. Also still in is fellow Pro Richard Toth from Hungary.

A total of 563 players from 47 countries competed in the €5,300 Main Event creating a €2,730,550 prize pool. EPT Prague event is running December 13-18 at Golden Prague Poker at the Hilton Prague Hotel. A total of 191 players started Day 1a.
