Charity Poker

We know that poker players generously give back to the community in many ways.  Some donate a portion of their winnings, others support by playing in special events, and there are those who donate their time and services. 

Poker pros like Liz Lieu and Vanessa Rousso donate a portion of their winnings, while others like Annie Duke and Jennifer Harman get involved in local charities and organizing events to benefit them.  There is also PokerGives.org a charitable organization that was started by Jan Fisher, Linda Johnson, Lisa Tenner and Mike Sexton.  At Woman Poker Player Magazine, we do our part to give publicity to all poker charity events we are made aware of as well as host a special event annually on Women's Day in March.  So shuffle up and deal - its all for a good cause!
