After a hugely successful Australia and New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) in September, Crown Melbourne has today announced the championship schedule for the ShaneWarne Super Stack that will begin on Friday 21 October 2011.
Super Stack has been specifically designed for local poker players to hone their skills playing championship style, super stack events, without the large buy-in. The ShaneWarne.com Super Stack will be open to all Crown players and will be a repechage event with two Day 1’s. The Repechage is whereby players who are eliminated from any of the Day 1 Flights are able to reenter the event via subsequent Day 1 Flights. For example, a player plays Friday 21 October but is eliminated when their Kings are cracked by an opponent’s Ace Jack. will now have the opportunity to buy back in on Saturday 22 October 2011. Play will commence with a 30,000 start bank and blinds set at 30 minutes. The Buy-In for this event is set at a very low AU$300 (Buy-In AU$260, Entry AU$40). With the impending 2012 Aussie Millions Poker Championship set to have a 30,000 start bank, the ShaneWarne.com Super Stack will provide the perfect opportunity for players to hone their super stack skills.
