Team PokerStars Pro, Vanessa Rousso, is headed to Upstate New York to share her winning strategies with local poker enthusiasts at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona. On August 13, Rousso will be hosting her highly acclaimed Big Slick Boot Camp-- an instructional experience for players who want to optimize their playing skill, and take their game to the next level.

Rousso first gained recognition in 2006 when she became the youngest woman to cash at a final table at a WSOP circuit event. Since then she has rocked the poker world with her playing prowess raking in more than $3 million.  Last year she made history once again defeating some of the biggest names in poker and becoming the first woman to make it to a final table at the highly renowned 2009 NBC Heads-Up event. Rousso captured international stardom in April, when she won first place in the European Poker Tour High Roller Event in Monte Carlo, adding $940,000 to her earnings. Her most recent cash happened just a few days ago at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, when she played her way to the final table in the 10K Heads-Up event adding $92K to her career earnings.

Rousso is not only regarded as one of the top players in the world, but has become one of the most sought after poker instructors.
